When my anxiety is in full force (as it is now), I notice my Ego is out.of.control. In a big way. . I replay conversations, believe people don’t like me and are judging me. I get so caught up in my own hamster-wheel of intrusive thoughts that I end up worse off.🤷🏼‍♀️ . My Ego needs a check. It needs a big dose of love. So I’m trying to live Love; the verb. I’ve paid for people’s coffees in the drive-thru, sent letters, made calls, carried groceries all in the hopes of smothering my Ego and returning to Love.❤️ . It’s an everyday struggle. It’s checking and rechecking myself. It’s asking myself if the story I’m telling myself is real. It’s choosing again. And again. And again. .
